Set behind the gates of Joá — the cliffside enclave the Brazilian press calls the Beverly Hills of Rio — this is a house built to command a view. Three levels descend the cliff in cinematic steps, each joined by private elevator, each facing the open Atlantic. The architecture is unhurried — a study in glass, stone, and the kind of address money buys in very few places on earth.
A Cliffside Villa Above the Atlantic
Five suites, three floors, one of the most private addresses in Brazil.
Set behind the gates of Joá — the cliffside enclave the Brazilian press calls the Beverly Hills of Rio — this is a house built to command a view. - Bedrooms 5 suites
- Bathrooms 8
- Built area 800 m²
- Land 2,000 m²
- Levels 3 with elevator
- Orientation Ocean full frontage
Step through the entry and the first gesture is the view. A living room opens to dining, dining opens to a gourmet kitchen built for a private chef, and every surface beyond the glass is ocean. The proportions are generous without being theatrical; the furniture — curated, not decorated — reads as a home first and a showpiece second.
Five suites occupy the lower floors, each with its own frame of the sea. A vertical garden threads the levels together, a living tapestry running beside the elevator. Bathrooms are marble-lined and deep; dressing rooms are walk-through and generous. The primary suite takes the best of the southern exposure — a quiet morning, a louder afternoon, and, toward evening, Rio performing its famous light show across the water.
The infinity edge of the pool reads, from the deck, as a straight cut into the Atlantic. Below it: a spa, a sauna, a home theater, and a private lounge set up for long dinners and longer nights. This is the floor that makes the case — the one where guests decide, over a second cocktail, that they're staying another day.

The house sits inside Joá — the cliffside enclave the Brazilian press calls the Beverly Hills of Rio de Janeiro. Closed condominium, twenty-four-hour manned security, private patrol, a single gated access road. The residents on this mountain — Luciano Huck and Angélica, Márcio Garcia, Carolina Dieckmann, Preta Gil, Cauã Reymond, Danielle Winits — are the shortlist of Brazilian television and music. Yours is the house on the edge of the crest.
